This poem made me think about how short\u00a0life is. It reminded me of the loss of loved ones, including the poet who wrote these words. How they simply fade away.<\/p>\n<p><strong>The Poem<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The message I heard when I read this poem is that lives are lived; accomplishments and fortunes are made, but in the end, everything including us, will simply fade away. There are many layers of messages here, but I think the most optimistic is that our lives are part of the whole.
